Ashok Ashtami fair is celebrated in a grand manner at Unakoti Tirtha of Kailashahar Sub-Division in North Tripura. It is held on Shukla paksha Ashtami in the month of chaitram. Pilgrims from various parts of the state gather in large numbers. They worship the images of gods and goddesses engraved on the hilly rocks.
